Once you do, you are better able to take care of your oral health when the time comes. You need to make sure that this is done sooner, rather than later to get the best possible outcome.
Cavity Myths to Be Aware Of
Sugar is not the only bad guy to be aware of that can harm the outside of your teeth. Many people think that reducing their candy intake is all that they have to do. This is actually not the only bad guy in town. Starches from breads and pasta can have the same effect on teeth.
If you graze often, your teeth with benefit from it. This is not true at all. By introducing all of these different foods into the mouth, you are not only aiding in the acidity within the mouth, but you are allowing these sugars and acids to sit on the outside of the teeth.
Saliva is great for bacteria reduction and keeping the mouth healthy, but not if it means introducing more bad things.
If you have a cavity, you will feel it. While this is somewhat true if the cavity goes on for too long, it is also something that is not true. Many of the smaller superficial cavities that we know about you actually do not feel. They are not deep enough into the root tissue to cause the person any discomfort.
